1966 SUBURBAN
SCOTT LEMPERT « COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MI
We’re really digging this beautiful ’66 Suburban. Scott tells us that the custom body was made as a collaboration with Blake Livelsberger (metalmasher) and himself. Blake pulled a resin cab from Pro-line’s '66 Chevy body set. Blake asked if Scott would be interested in trying to build a Suburban from the resin parts. This is the outcome. Scott says, “This was a challenge for sure! I had not worked with resin at the level before. Blending styrene with resin, even in the bonding process was done using "super glue" on the joint areas. I used photos of other
'66 Suburban's for reference.” Fantastic job guys, it turned out great!
