My husband lost his wedding ring while working in the yard. We looked everywhere for it but decided it was no use to continue searching by hand, so I bought a metal detector. When the machine didn’t seem to be working, I tossed a nickel into the grass. My husband moved toward it with the detector, but nothing happened. I bent down to pick up the nickel and saw his ring about a foot away. I couldn’t believe my luck. I’ll never forget that moment—and I’m going to keep that nickel forever.
