Ask Your Father

When our three children were young, I would put them to bed, hear their prayers, kiss them good night, and then whisper in their ears, “If you need anything, call Daddy.” In the middle of the night, we would hear a little voice saying, “Daaaaddy.” My husband would hit the floor to see what his little darling wanted.
