The Secret Lives of Letters

Wow. Or should I write Uuouu? The name of the letter W is just plain lazy. W is the only letter whose name is more than one syllable, does not in the least reflect the sound it creates, and is simply two letters tagged together (which is confusing, since W is often written as a double V ). I suggest renaming it to something befitting its unique character and sound. How about hua, wa, way, wu, whu, whi ... Anybody else? Or am I existing in a vacwm? —Peggy Lewis La Mesa, California
