According to a study of 1.2 million Americans, people who exercised enjoyed better mental health than those who didn’t. But there was a limit. Individuals who worked out for 45 minutes per session felt better than those who favored longer workouts. Similarly, hitting the gym three to five times a week—not daily—correlated with optimal results.
