Make Way for Ducklings!
At one Alaska library, you can check out “The Raven”—then check out an actual raven. The Alaska Resources Library and Information Services offers hundreds of taxidermy animals, which is one benefit of living in the nation’s biggest wildlife playground. Amazingly, the fee for an overdue animal is the same as for a book—and the preserved pets can perform multiple functions.
