The Merry Old Land of Oz

When author L. Frank Baum was wondering what to name the magical world where he set his stories, his eye fell upon his filing cabinet, whose drawers were alphabetically labeled A–G, H–N, and O–Z. Faster than you can say Toto, he had his book’s title: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It was published in 1900.
