Once my appointmen­t was scheduled, I received specific instructio­ns to download an app for my smartphone. Whatever device you are using, make sure it is fully charged. As with in-person doctor visits, you still might have to wait to see your doctor. (But at least you are waiting in your own home.) Pick a quiet space for the visit, avoiding high-traffic areas such as the kitchen or living room. Often, just navigating the technology can create stress. I wrote down my questions ahead of time, which is a good idea for in-person visits as well.
