The Last Days of the Pioneer

Here in Kingsbury County, South Dakota, the Lake Preston Times and Desmet News both recently folded after over 130 years of publishing. Volunteers from both towns got together to start a new paper: the Kingsbury Journal. Four staffers and 42 volunteer writers, proofreaders, and deliverers put out a paper every week.
