The Snake Charmers

Great article on a group of women helping to curtail invasive Burmese pythons in the Florida Everglades. What’s missing is how those snakes got there in the first place. My guess is owners bought them for their “scary cool” factor, then dumped them in the wild after the people grew bored or the snakes got too big. With no native predators, the pythons reproduced and created this problem.
