The New Truth About Cholestero­l


After reading how we don’t have to avoid eggs to keep cholestero­l down (October), I remembered telling my doctor that my 86-yearold mother had eaten two soft-boiled eggs every morning since she was 16 and read without glasses and walked without a cane. Stunned, he advised me to keep eating eggs.

My mother, who is now 96 years old, still reads without glasses and walks without a cane.
