Muscle Out a Good Night’s Rest

If thoughts or anxiety keep you up at night, Gregory Scott Brown, MD, suggests progressiv­e muscle relaxation. Breathe in and tense a muscle group for a few seconds, then exhale and release. Repeat, then move to the next muscle group. Start with your hands and move up your body, then back down until you ease into sleep.
