CEN­TRE­VILLE — Missed out on the first round of Ball­room Danc­ing Classes?

Not to worry! Novem­ber 14 starts the next round of classes at the Queen Anne’s County Arts Coun­cil and spots are still avail­able. Danc­ing on the Shore is proud to be back of­fer­ing Ball­room and Latin Dance in­struc­tion at the Queen Anne County Arts Coun­cil. Th­ese have been, by far, our most re­quested classes over the years. Owner of Danc­ing on the Shore, Amanda Show­ell along with Danc­ing on the Shore Pro­fes­sional In­struc­tor Maria Ba­gley will be of­fer­ing over 65 years com­bined dance ex­pe­ri­ence to the stu­dents at­tend­ing our weekly ball­room and latin dance ex­pe­ri­ence.

All classes are on Wednes­day nights, and are ba­sic be­gin­ner level classes de­signed for those with­out any or a small amount of danc­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. There’s no need to have a part­ner, sin­gles are wel­come. Think you can’t dance? Let Danc­ing on the Shore show you that you can! It’s a learn­ing en­vi­ron­ment that’s fun, friendly, and no pres­sure.

Four ses­sions of Wednes­day night classes will be held Nov. 14 through Dec. 12 with no class the week of Thanks­giv­ing. Ba­sic Be­gin­ner Chacha be­gins at 7 p.m. fol­lowed by Ba­sic Be­gin­ner Rumba from 8 to 9 p.m. Some stu­dents take one class, and some take the two back to back for two full hours of danc­ing. Classes are $50 a ses­sion, or $45 if a mem­ber of QACAC.
