Safe miss­ing from res­i­dence

CH­ESTER — The Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice is in­ves­ti­gat­ing the theft of a safe from a home in the Gib­son’s Grant com­mu­nity.

Melissa Craig re­ported her gray, fire­proof safe was miss­ing from her res­i­dence on the 200 block of Clai­borne Street in Ch­ester on Nov. 20. The safe is val­ued at $70.

Po­lice seek driver in crash

MILLING­TON — The Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice is look­ing for a driver who fled the scene of a crash Nov. 20.

It ap­pears the driver lost con­trol of a 2007 Chevy Im­pala and struck a brick pil­lar about 6:59 p.m. Nov. 20 on the 1000 block of Blanco Road, po­lice said. The driver then fled.

Deputies in­ves­ti­gate lit­ter­ing com­plaint

KINGSTOWN — Michael Bloom­gar­den of the 100 block of Hy­barc Farm re­ported that some­one il­le­gally dumped burnt trash on his prop­erty on Nov. 21. The Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Car en­tered in Gr­son­ville

GRA­SONVILLE — Jamie Sut­phin of the 200 block of Church Lane, Gra­sonville, re­ported some­one en­tered her car Nov. 21, leav­ing the pas­sen­ger open. Noth­ing was dis­cov­ered to be miss­ing from the ve­hi­cle. The Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
