EXCITING NEWS

The Queen Anne’s County Library is opening to the public.

No appointmen­ts are necessary as the Queen Anne’s County Library slowly reopens to the public on Tuesday, Feb. 16, limiting numbers allowed in to maintain social distancing and safe browsing.

Monday-thursday

The Library will be open to the public from 10:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. for in-person browsing and computer use. Library Express services will remain available for those most comfortabl­e with curbside pickup.

The library will close to the public from 1 to 3 p.m. for cleaning purposes. Library Express services continue during the cleaning period.

Friday & Saturday

The Library will be open to the public from 9:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. for in-person browsing and computer use. Library Express services will remain available for those most comfortabl­e with curbside pickup.

The library will be closed to the public from noon to 2 p.m. for cleaning purposes. Library Express services continue during the cleaning period.

SEED SWAP

The Library and Queen Anne’s County Master Gardeners are partnering for this year’s seed swap. Place your order online at go.umd. edu/sendmeseed­s through Saturday, Feb. 13. Choose from packet mixes including herbs, pollinator­s, salad mix and summer vegetables.

Seeds may be mailed or picked up Feb. 23 at the Kent Island branch or Feb. 24 at the Centrevill­e branch. For more informatio­n, email Rachel Rhodes at rjrhodes@umd.edu.
