Cute dogs, ugly sweaters

Plop your pup into something festive and head to the Ugly Sweater Pawty to enjoy a holiday party for the hounds. The event offers plenty to entertain both humans and their best friends: a photo op with Santa, a paw-print ornament-making station, ball pit, off-leash playtime for dogs and shopping. All proceeds from the event will benefit Felines & Canines and the Chicagoland Lab Rescue, and a goodie bag is included in your ticket. The pup and sweater party will run from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Pooch Hotel West Loop (1214 W. Monroe St.). Don’t forget something ugly! Tickets: $20. forpawsclubmary.eventbrite.com
