Ceres’ Ta­ble This ac­com­plished restau­rant is re­spect­ful of Ital­ian re­gional cui­sine with­out be­ing tra­di­tion-bound. The all-Ital­ian wine list is bud­get-sen­si­tive when it needs to be; that and the un­der-$9 cock­tails make this an at­trac­tive place to im­bibe.

Ella Elli This restau­rant is a sexy space filled with curvy pen­dant lamps and hand­some couches, but it’s not all looks: Chef Nolan Narut is putting out some des­ti­na­tion-wor­thy plates, in­clud­ing ri­cotta gnoc­chi, sour­dough slathered with av­o­cado and ev­ery­thing sea­son­ing, and baby car­rots driz­zled with harissa-spiked lemon vinai­grette.
