George Allen Hunt

RENO - George Allen Hunt, 83, passed away in Reno, NV on December 25, 2023. George was born on May 25, 1940 to James and Kathleen Hunt in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his loving wife Debbi, his son David (Debbie) and his brother Jim (Linda) along with much loved family and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Kathleen, first wife Peggy, daughter RuthAnne, and brother John.

George was a proud Navy veteran, honorably discharged on August 8, 1960. He was curious, thoughtful, and had a witty sense of humor. In his spare time, he loved golfing, reading, politics, sports and was an avid bowler. But his greatest love was his wife Debbi who loved and cared for him to his last moments on this side of heaven. She fondly remembers him saying, “I love you, more than you’ll ever know.”
