Rain and snow return to Northern Nevada
Will Reno-Sparks residents see snow on the sidewalks in the first week of the New Year? It’s not out of the question, but temperatures should stay warm enough to prevent a sudden surge in shovel sales this week. Higher elevations should see some snow accumulation from the storm hitting this weekend.
Some of the week’s biggest shows are sold out, including “Magique” and all eight showings of “Six The Musical” at the Pioneer Center (although there’s a last-chance ticket lottery running; see below). Meanwhile, both the Wolf Pack men’s and women’s teams are out of town, and the first meteor shower of 2024 should be well-obscured by clouds during its Wednesday-Thursday peak.
But good news: The Reno Latin Dance Fest is back at the Silver Legacy for its annual four-day run this weekend.
