2. WNBA forfeit
It took the Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA 26 hours to reach Washington, D.C., after multiple flight delays and cancellations. The Aces arrived in Washington four hours before tipoff and opted not to play. The game was ruled a forfeit. Only 26 hours? Washington commuters on I-95 sit in that much traffic in about four days.

4. Selling shoes
Thirteen UNC football players were suspended for selling team-issued shoes. The Air Jordan 3’s reportedly went for $2,500 cash. What person in his right mind would keep a pair of shoes he could sell for $2,500? Selling them was the only rational decision.
