Lisa Scottoline will be author for All Henrico Reads in 2019
Lisa Scottoline will be the 2019 All Henrico Reads author, the Henrico County Public Library announced Thursday.
Scottoline is the bestselling author of 32 novels, including “After Anna,” her 2018 thriller that will be the subject of her appearance at Glen Allen High School on April 10 at 7 p.m. The event will be free and open to the public. More details are available at www.henricolibrary.org/ahr.
A former attorney, Scottoline began her writing career in 1994 with the novel “Everywhere That Mary Went.” She also writes a weekly column with her daughter Francesca Serritella for the Philadelphia Inquirer called “Chick Wit.” Those columns have been collected in a series of humorous memoirs, including the most recent “I See Life Through Rose-Colored Glasses.”
All Henrico Reads is an annual reading program in which the community is encouraged to read the same book, then discuss it together through library discussion groups or on their own and then come together to hear the author talk about it. Since 2008, the library has partnered with Henrico County Public Schools and the Friends of Henrico County Public Library to host the event.
Lisa Scottoline, a best-selling author of 32 novels, has been selected as the 2019 All Henrico Reads featured author. The program will be held April 10 at Glen Allen High School.
