The marriage of Miss Sarah Elizabeth Dickinson, of Raleigh, North Carolina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lyle Dickinson, of Richmond, Virginia, to Mr. John Austin Baker of Raleigh, North Carolina, son of Mrs. John Eric Baker and the late Mr. Baker of Charleston, South Carolina took place June 9, 2018 at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, North Carolina. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by
Dr. William Slater, senior pastor of Wake Forest Baptist Church.
The bride, escorted by her father, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Holt of Richmond, Virginia and Mr. Robert Dickinson and the late Mrs. Nell Dickinson of Bumpass, Virginia.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baker of Greenville, South Carolina and Mrs. Agliee Murray and the late Mr.
Bobby Murray of McCormick, South Carolina.
Mrs. Abigail Moncrief of Richmond, Virginia, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Anne Marie Baker of Greenville, South Carolina, Mrs. Morgan Dickinson & Mrs. Lauren Bischoff of Richmond, Virginia,

Brant Pruden of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Joshua Pitts of Newberry, South Carolina served as best man. Robert Dickinson & Mr. Kevin Moncrief of Richmond, Virginia, Mr. Daniel Swenson of Silverstreet, South
Carolina, Mr. Thomas Jones of Marion, South Carolina & Mr. David Free of Barnwell, South Carolina. Masters Bryant & Winston Moncrief were ring bearers. Miss Ann Davenport Davis & Mr. John Holt provided music. Mrs. Laura Campbell & Mrs. Ryan Gordon read scripture.
The bride is a graduate of Douglas S. Freeman High School and graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is in her final year of Family Nurse Practitioner school.
The groom graduated from Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University.
A reception was held at Haywood Hall Museum House & Gardens. The couple resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
