Attacker sought after man critically injured in stabbing
RICHMOND — A man suffering multiple stab wounds appeared at the Richmond Police’s 1st Precinct building early Tuesday, police said.
The man arrived at the precinct about 2:20 p.m. shortly after police had been called to the intersection of Tulip and Carrington streets for a report of a stabbing, according to police. He was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition.
His assailant was described as a black man with a dark complexion, thin build and short dark hair. He was estimated to be in his late 20s or early 30s. The attacker may have had a scarred right retina, police said.
