Moscow mayor thumbs nose at British

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has named a square near the head­quar­ters of Rus­sia’s SVR for­eign in­tel­li­gence ser­vice af­ter Kim Philby, the Bri­ton who was the most suc­cess­ful Soviet dou­ble agent of the Cold War. The move came amid ten­sions over the poi­son­ing of for­mer Rus­sian dou­ble agent Sergei Skri­pal and his daugh­ter, Yu­lia, in Sal­is­bury, Eng­land.
