CHRISTMAS MOTHER DONATIONS
Connor’s Heroes plans to use a $1,000 grant from the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund to provide holiday cheer to families of children with cancer.
The money will fund holiday meals, gifts for families, gas cards and holiday lights tours, said Celia Tetlow Martin, the executive director of Connor’s Heroes.
The grant is one of 50 funded this season through the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund’s partnership with The Community Foundation Serving Richmond & Central Virginia.
The Richmond TimesDispatch follows its tradition of publishing the names of donors throughout December, with additional information on the nonprofit organizations helped by the generosity of RTD readers.
