56, of Rich­mond, passed away Fri­day, Novem­ber 30, 2018. Born in Fair­fax, Vir­ginia, Cliff grew up in Alexan­dria, Vir­ginia and Mi­ami, Florida. A grad­u­ate of Blue Ridge School and Ham­p­den Syd­ney Col­lege, he was ac­tive in sev­eral the­ater pro­duc­tions at both schools. Hav­ing held sev­eral po­si­tions in the in­sur­ance in­dus­try, Clif­ford en­joyed stag­ing karaoke shows with the late Doug Price at venues through­out cen­tral Vir­ginia in his later years. His ren­di­tion of Si­na­tra’s "My Way" is par­tic­u­larly mem­o­rable. Cliff was a friend of Bill W. for over 30 years and served as an in­spi­ra­tion to the many who wit­nessed this por­tion of his jour­ney through life. He is sur­vived by his broth­ers, Her­bert S. Curlee (Linda) of Clear­wa­ter, Florida and Parker A. Curlee (Lisa) of Hen­rico, Vir­ginia; and his niece, Sarah E. Curlee of Hen­rico, Vir­ginia.
