Just before 1 a.m. that day, police responded to the 5300 block of Pembroke Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found a young male in the middle of the street; the victim was suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was identified as Matthew Warren McDaniel, 19, of the 2800 block of Brampton Way, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Crime Solvers has released photos related to this incident.
