EmergyCare to host national training workshop
Erie, PA – EmergyCare is proud to host the All Clear Foundation on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, for a full day workshop from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the EmergyCare Education Center located at 1926 Peach St in Erie. (Details regarding the All Clear Foundation can be found on pages 3 & 4).
Emergency Response work has always presented unique mental, emotional, and physical challenges. Over the past few years, stress levels among all those who protect and support our communities have escalated to unprecedented levels, driving demand for solutions like All Clear Foundation’s Responder-Strong Mental Health Curriculum. Created for Responders by Responders, this highly regarded program is being implemented across the nation to bolster resiliency, erode stigma, and decrease stress injury: burnout, compassion fatigue, anxiety, depression, and suicidality. Recognizing budget constraints often hinder access to content like this, All Clear Foundation is proud to offer this workshop FREE to Responders through generous support from their sponsoring partners.
The workshop is open to ALL first responders both volunteer and paid: EMS personnel, police, firefighters, sheriffs’ officers, ski patrol and more. Those interested can register by going to https://www.emergycare.org/education-and-outreach/continuing-educationopportunities/. Simply click on the register link and then choose Pennsylvania. Though participants can attend either in-person or virtually, in-person participation is encouraged to get the full experience. There will be two trainers on site to lead the workshop, both are Responders.
Registration is limited to two individuals per organization, only one person per organization can attend inperson. The other must attend virtually.
EmergyCare looks forward to hosting this workshop and assisting others in Northwest Pennsylvania learning how to address the challenges our Responders face.
