Jane P. Delhunty

Jane P. Delhunty, 86, of Ridgway, died on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Highland View Nursing Home.

She was born on January 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Hill Patterson.

On December 7, 1957, she married the late Jack Delhunty, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1981.

Jane lived in the area for many years and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked at Peoples Savings & Loans and the Department of Welfare, retiring after 19 years of services. Jane was a avid fan of the Steelers. She loved dancing, golfing, traveling, and bicycling. For many years, on Wednesday, grandma Jane spent her night cooking and entertaining her grandchildren.

Jane is survived by 1 daughter, Debra Delhunty of Ridgway, 2 sons; Jack Delhunty and his wife Chris of Ridgway and Brian Delhunty of St. Marys, and 7 grandchildren; Brandon, Megan, Austin, Nathan, Katie, Trevor, and Forest, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Kenneth Patterson and his wife Jerry of Portland Mills and Frances Patterson and his wife Pattie of Ridgway.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Doris Bowser and Peggy Shirley, and 3 brothers; Harold, Robert, and Charles Patterson.

A Memorial service for Jane P. Delhunty will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 19 S. Broad Street, Ridgway, PA,15853, with Pastor Matthew Williams as celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at Trinity United Methodist Church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Lake City Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or The Rails to Trails.
