Farmers National Bank adds key staff to support Pennsylvania growth
CANFIELD, OH — With the closing of its recent acquisition, Farmers footprint has expanded throughout Pennsylvania. Farmers National Bank has added staff throughout PA to lead lines of business such as Private Bank, Treasury Management and Commercial Lending.
William Marsh served as Chairman of the Board and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, and will now act as Senior Vice President, Market President – Pennsylvania. Marsh, with nearly 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, began his tenure with The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and became Chairman, President and CEO in 2009.
Robert Vernick, formerly Chief Lending Officer of Farmers National Bank of Emlenton joined the Farmers team through the recent merger and will now serve as Senior Vice
President, Commercial Banking Team Leader and Market President in Western Pennsylvania. Vernick has 34 years of banking experience having worked in various roles including commercial banking officer, commercial real estate lending officer, and business banking unit manager.
Also joining Farmers through the Emlenton merger is Eric Gantz who will serve as Regional Credit Officer of Pennsylvania. Previously, Gantz was the Chief Credit Officer at Farmers National Bank of Emlenton. Gantz has thirteen plus years of experience working in commercial credit and credit risk management.

William Garvey has joined Farmers as Senior Vice President, Private Banking and Wealth Management Team Leader. A Pittsburgh native, Garvey joins the Farmers team with more than 35 years of banking experience in both Private Banking and Middle Market Commercial Lending.
Jennifer Jacob has been named to the position of Vice President, Treasury Relationship Manager. Jacob is a 13year banking industry professional with more than a decade of experience in retail banking management and treasury management services.

As Farmers continues to expand, Bill Shivers, who joined Farmers in April of 2022 as Regional President, will assume the role of Chief Commercial Lending Officer. In his new role, Shivers will oversee the entire Commercial Lending team throughout the Farmers footprint. The following Market Presidents have been named throughout Ohio: Andrew Estock as Market President of the Southern Mahoning Valley, Michael Mudrak as Market President of Cleveland, Dallas Robinson as Market President of Western Ohio, and Shawn Pompelia as Market President of Northern Mahoning Valley.
Additionally, Farmers has implemented regional credit commercial teams. Patrick Renner will oversee all regional credit leaders as the Chief Commercial Credit Officer. Jon Dunn will serve as Regional Credit Officer of the Mahoning Valley and Columbiana County, Mike Lipke will serve as Regional Credit Officer of Canton and Cleveland and Rick White will continue serving as Regional Credit Officer of Wayne and Medina counties.
