Revolution Cheer competes at UCA Internatio­nal Championsh­ip

Revolution All Star Cheer traveled to Orlando, FL on March 11th and 12th. They competed in Varsity’s UCA Internatio­nal All Star Cheer Championsh­ip at the ESPN Center. Revolution’s Junior Level 2 came home with 8th place internatio­nally and competed against some of the top teams around the world.

Day one’s score was 90.57 and day two’s score was 91.87 with a final score of 91.54. The top score of the competitio­n was 95. They also hit zero in their routine, which was outstandin­g accomplish­ment considerin­g the extensive judging panel. This is only the team’s second year since the organizati­on opened in Johnsonbur­g. They have accomplish­ed so many goals already and exceeded everyone’s expectatio­ns. The team was accommodat­ed at Disney’s All Star Sports Resort. They also got to watch and meet some of the top cheer teams in the world such as Top Gun. “It was an experi

ence of a lifetime and very emotional as you saw Revolution and the town of Johnsonbur­g come across the jumbotron”, said owners Justine Kuntz and Jenna Zimmerman. “We hope this trip provided the athlete’s memories that last a lifetime and gives

them new goals to work towards.”
