Carmen was a Manteca resident since 1963. She originally made way to Manteca from El Paso, Texas with her young family. She was extremely hard working as she would follow the seasonal harvest throughout California. She would later stay home with her children and loved helping to raise her grandchildren.

Carmen’s house was authentic making it home to everyone who entered. No one would go hungry! You would leave with a good laugh a story from her childhood and a warm hug. She kept her faith close to her heart and would teach her family to do the same. She and her husband shared the truest testimonies of love. Carmen’s heritage will continue throughout her family and her blessings will forever live on.
