Twain Harte Ok­to­ber­fest Slated

Come taste a va­ri­ety of beers and shop a Fall Fes­ti­val in a beau­ti­ful set­ting.

It is time again for the Twain Harte An­nual Ok­to­ber­fest and Pints In the Pines, sched­uled for Satur­day, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event is filled with fun along with live mu­sic by Mother­lode Alibi. The craft show will fea­ture lo­cal ar­ti­sans and crafters. For the younger ones, there will be face paint­ing, wash­able tat­toos and, of course, the tra­di­tional play­ground.

Or­ga­niz­ers are look­ing for people with hand­made items, or items that have been re-pur­posed to join in as ven­dors at the event.

Lo­cal food items will be avail­able for pur­chase in­clud­ing Tri Tip Sand­wiches from 3 Bears Coun­try Diner, Ket­tle Corn and the Twain Harte Fire Depart­ment will have food along with sou­venir items for sale. A va­ri­ety of craft beers will be avail­able for tast­ing in the beer tent along with a com­mem­o­ra­tive mug at the en­try fee price of just $25. The Beer Tast­ing will open at noon.
