Benjamin Rasmussen

Rasmussen spent his childhood in the southern Philippines, his college years in a small town in northern Arkansas, and a year in the Faroe Islands with descendants of Vikings. For 10 years, the photographer drove a 2001 Dodge Caravan that he got in a trade for a print and a bottle of whiskey. His work can be found in Time, the New York Times, and Dwell. His first monograph, The Good Citizen, will be published in the fall. For this issue, he photographed a Maserati MC20 in coastal California (page 046). One of the images from that shoot appears on the cover.
