PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK

“Ever since I discovered Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes National Park, I’ve been dying to go. A 2-hour drive from Zagreb, the forest reserve is home to 16 natural lakes and more than 90 waterfalls. Visitors travel on boardwalks built onto the water, with eight different routes winding around the flora and fauna.
