Rare Books will offer a first edition of German astronomer Johannes Kepler’s essays at the Antiquarian Book Fair in Stuttgart (stuttgarter -antiquariatsmesse.de). In the text, Kepler describes a supernova that appeared at the foot of the constellation Ophiuchus in 1604. The work was published in Prague and Frankfurt by Pavel Sessius and Wolfgang Richter in 1606. The fair runs January 26 to 28 at the Württem bergischen Kunstverein. sokol.co.uk
