Ellwood is Robb Report’s editor at large. For this issue he traveled to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Marrakech, the latter to detail a home designed in collaboration with the city’s local artisans (“The Secret of the Souk,” p. 104). “I loved the fact that every detail you can see, from the smallest tile to the largest element, like a staircase, was made the exact same way—by hand,” he says. His favorite part of the Aerial, the new BVI wellness resort that he explored in “Who Needs Dry Land?”
