Madden is Robb Report’s staff writer. This month, she wrote about a family house in Texas with a significant car garage (“Concrete Answer,” p. 128), compiled a portfolio of overlooked BIPOC designers (“The Unsung Giants,” p. 138) and documented the creation of designer Niamh Barry’s latest jaw-dropping bronze chandelier (“Trick of the Light,” p. 80). “Barry’s process is incredibly meticulous,” she says. “Instead of just slotting pieces of glass into the sculpture, she cut a large sheet and pieced it back together like a mosaic so that it would better refract the light.”
