Living As Lithophiles?

In response to Tom Hiday’s request in Field Notes of April 2019, I’ve come up with a more honest, accurate, and professional-sounding name than “rockhounds” to describe folks who truly love rocks, gems, and minerals [and Rock & Gem magazine] as “LITHOPHILES.” Definition: [lithos =stone, philos = loving]
