“Snowball” Geode
A five-inch “snowball” geode with quartz formations from Crystal Glen Creek near Hamilton, Illinois. This “snowball” type of Keokuk geode is considered one of the rarest types. In this location, these geodes occur more frequently than in the tri-state area of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.
