Warren Zevon’s “Desperados”

“Play it for Carl Wilson, too,” Dylan sings. “Looking far, far away down Gower Avenue.” He’s referring to Zevon’s 1976 classic “Desperados Under the Eaves,” which features Beach Boy Carl Wilson on harmony vocals. Dylan is a huge Zevon fan, covering many of his songs live.
