Reggae suffered a pair of unthinkable losses this spring when Donald “Tabby Diamond” Shaw, singer of iconic trio the Mighty Diamonds, was murdered at age 66 — followed days later by the death of the same group’s Fitzroy “Bunny Diamond” Simpson, 70, due to complications from diabetes. “Whoever took Tabby’s life has robbed a music, robbed a culture, robbed the world,” said producer Gussie Clarke.
