Trinity Teen Solutions and Triangle Cross Ranch
POWELL, WYOMING 2002–22; 1996–PRESENT
At these girls and boys ranches, owned by the same family in rural Wyoming, former residents describe being forced to do heavy manual labor and being tied to a goat by a leash as punishment. Previous state inspections found that girls had been kept from using the bathroom and forced to wet themselves. One resident from the boys ranch alleged he’d been branded with a cross. Under pressure from increasingly public allegations and a recent NBC News investigation, the girls ranch, Trinity, abruptly ceased operations in October. The ranch’s leadership denies the accusations and says, “Reported allegations of abuse have been investigated and [found to be] unsubstantiated.” Triangle Cross Ranch remains operational.
