Mrs. Sybil Waldrop Aldridge, age 84, 505 N. Fifth Ave., Rome, passed away Friday morning, Aug. 24, 2012, in a local health care facility.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the graveside in Rome Memorial Park.

The Rev. Mac McCurry and the Rev. Clyde Hampton will officiate.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.

Mr. Arthur Earl “Archie” Clark, age 60, of 33 Green Valley Road, Silver Creek, passed away on Friday evening, Aug. 24, 2012, at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home. The American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard will present military honors. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence.
