Mrs. Margaret H. Blanchard, age 65, of 414 Branham Ave., Rome, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Floyd Medical Center.

A celebratio­n of life will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. at Metropolit­an United Methodist Church, 700 Broad St., Rome, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Carol Helton Pastor, officiatin­g.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Blanchard; daughters, Audrey Blanchard and Carol Blanchard; grandson, Aubrey Blanchard; two sisters, Charlsie Smith and Ollia Ringer; three brothers, Herman Ringer, Malachie Haynes and Bruce Haynes. She was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Cokley and grandson, Kristofer S. Blanchard.

The body will lie in state from noon until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Shadyside Memorial Gardens.

Wright Memorial Mortuary, Inc. has charge of the arrangemen­ts.

Ms. Johnice T. Creamer, age 57, died at Redmond Regional Medical Center, Rome Ga. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2012, due to an extended illness.

She was born September 24, 1954 to Johnny and Helen Taylor both of Rome, Ga. Johnice, worked at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital as a LPN until retiring in 2005. Ms. Creamer loved her family, friends and most of all the LORD, she was an active member of Glorious New Jerusalem Church where she served on the Mothers’ Board.

Survivors include her loving children, Lynn (Jewayne) Morgan and Johnathan Creamer both of Rome, Ga.; two sisters, Debra (Randolph) Kinnebrew of Rome, Ga. and Ashla Alston of Danville, Va.; three bothers, Robert (Margaret) Taylor of Monroe, Ga., Samuel (Shirley) Carter and Alfred (Joyce) Taylor both of Rome, Ga.; one grandson, George Morgan.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Glorious New Jerusalem Church, with pastor Louise McCluskey officiatin­g.
