Annie Elizabeth Mathis Grigsby,

88, of Rome, died Dec. 8, 2016. Miller & Richards’ Oaknoll Chapel has charge of the arrangements.

Juanita S. Lanier,

79, of Rome, died Dec. 7, 2016. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.

Shirley Patrick-Stansell,

81, of Rome, died Dec. 9, 2016. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the arrangements. Attorney at Law and was the secretary/bookkeeper for Andrew’s Motor Company from 1968 until 1977. She was a member of New Armuchee Baptist Church and the Ida Morris Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Dewey Lanier, to whom she married on April 6, 1958; a sister, Margie Bell, Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at 2:00 pm at New Armuchee Baptist Church with Dr. David Howard and the Rev. Tim Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and are requested to assemble at New Armuchee Baptist Church on Sunday at 1:30pm: Steve McDaniel, Jim Goldbeck, Ryan Wilson, Larry Thompson, Robert Shiflett and Randy Burnham.
