The Georgia Mountain
Music Club meets Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Charles C. Parker Center, 1325 Kingston Road. Members and guest will be performing bluegrass, country and gospel music onstage. Visitors are welcome to attend the free program. For more information call Bob Anderson at 706-767-1815.
FRIDAY
The Renew Our Rivers
2017 cleanup will take place Friday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Armuchee Creek. The group will meet at New Armuchee Baptist Church, 5385 Martha Berry Highway, for staging, breakfast and a safety talk. Participants should wear boots and long pants. The cleanup will concentrate near the cemetery between Martha Berry Highway and Old Summerville Road. Boats will not be needed, but volunteers with trucks and winches to remove appliances, sofas and other items will be helpful. There will be plenty of opportunities for people to help clean along the creek and on both sides of the highway. For more information call 706236-4456. Breakfast, lunch, T-shirts and door prizes will be provided.
SATURDAY
The Northwest Georgia Winds and Guests will present “Across the Big Pond XVII” on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Forum River Center. The annual gala Celtic concert will include bagpipers, dancers, soloists and more. Admission is $5.
The Armuchee High School Class of 1957 will hold its 60th class reunion Saturday at Bella Roma Grill, 770 Braves Blvd. Class members, spouses and guests should arrive around 4 p.m. Everyone will order from the menu.
The Porcelain Art Guild will meet Saturday at 10 a.m. at Paula Baker’s Studio. The “Glazing Porcelain Orchids” workshop will be conducted by Anna Nichols. For more information call 706-266-6534.

The Three Rivers
Singers will perform a free concert on Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 Garden Lakes Blvd. The concert begins at 4 p.m. in the aanctuary as the Three Rivers Singers present
a program called “If It’s Baroque, Don’t Fix It,” a collection of timeless favorites.
