Entertainment company owner is indicted on child molestation charge
A Rome man was indicted on an additional sex charge relating to an August 2015 incident involving a 14-year-old girl.
A Rome man was indicted on an additional sex charge relating to an August 2015 incident involving a 14-year-old girl. The Floyd County grand jury indicted Dean Arce on a child molestation charge during the April 21 session. He is also charged with felony aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
Arce was originally arrested in October for felony rape, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects, drugs not in original container and giving a false name to an officer. He is accused of posing as a photographer and drugging then raping an unconscious woman.
The grand jury indicted Arce in January on the rape charge. Arce was the owner and operator of Community Entertainment Solutions, LLC, which he touted as a full-service media firm.
He is being held without bond.
Man accused of cutting his mother with a knife
A Lindale was indicted on an aggravated assault charge for allegedly attacking his mother with a knife and leaving a deep cut on her left wrist, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail records: Paul Mitchell Chastain was arrested in March and charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault.
He is being held without bond at the Floyd County Jail.
