A Memorial Day remembranc­e ceremony with music by the Roman Festival Brass will be held May 29 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Mather Payne Special Events Arena. Admission and parking are free.

The 34th annual Armuchee Memorial Day Bluegrass

Festival will be held May 25-28 at Armuchee Music Park, 899 Turkey Mountain Road, Armuchee. Three day passes are $21. The festivitie­s start at 6 p.m. on Thursday with the jam a long and cookout, free to anyone with a 3-day pass and a covered dish, 4:45 p.m. on Friday and 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
