about bald eagles at 6 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum, 24 Veterans Memorial Highway. The lecture is the first installment of the five-part Sanctuary at Berry Lecture Series that focuses on the research and experience of faculty members with various species found on the Berry campus. Carleton will address the biology and behavior of bald eagles, general eagle ecology, the history of decline and recovery and the Berry eagle story.The lecture is free and open to the public. College, 3175 Cedartown Highway, will host a job and career fair on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with local employers on part-time positions, full-time positions and internships. Attendees should bring resumes and be prepared to talk about their career goals. There will be an alumni panel, mock interviews and a resume doctor.

Ridge Home and Berry College will co-sponsor a lecture by Tony Harris titled “If Plants Could Talk: A Cherokee Relationship” on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in McAllister Auditorium, Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway.
